About HAL

HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) is India's premier aerospace and defence manufacturing PSU under the Ministry of Defence. It designs and manufactures aircraft, helicopters, aero engines, and avionics. HAL recruits Graduate Engineer Trainees through GATE scores. How HAL Salary is Structured

HAL engineers start at Rs. 40,000 basic per month in the Rs. 40,000-1,40,000 scale. IDA is 55.7 percent of basic from July 2026, adding about Rs. 22,300 a month. Dearness Allowance (DA) Explained
